Founder & Owner of Unique Horsebling

Camilla is 43 years old and lives in Strøby, just south of Køge in Southeast Zealand. She was born with muscular dystrophy, which has progressed over recent years, meaning that today she no longer walks but moves around in a powered wheelchair. About 95% of the time, she uses a machine to assist her breathing as her body is affected by the condition.

She has been passionate about riding her entire life and has had several horses, including the New Forest stallion Horsemosens Navarone and her para-dressage horse After Eight’s Chanel, who sadly passed away in 2017 at the age of 28.

In 2006, Camilla began decorating gear with rhinestones because she missed having browbands and equipment in exactly the colors she wanted — and because she loves things to be perfectly detailed down to the smallest detail. If something didn’t exist in the colors she wanted, she invented or created it herself.

Camilla strongly believes in seeing possibilities rather than limitations and is known for her stubbornness and persistence when it comes to problem-solving.

She has previously collaborated with SD Design and Cristina Sport, and has been active as a blogger on her own blog (After Eight Chanel) as well as on various platforms such as Tika Universe. Besides her passion for horses, she is also engaged in music — having produced freestyle music for riders at various championships for 15 years — and has worked as a photographer for 16 years.
